MEET LILIAN GARZA

It’s my firm belief that taking on challenges allows for the opportunity to develop and learn, which is why I make a point of seeking out new ones in the professional realm, as well as in my personal life.
MY STORY
Currently, I am working on my Mc.S. in Cognitive Systems at the University of Ulm in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. As a soon to be graduate, I hope to find a job where I can apply my knowledge of cognitive psychology and computer science in the realm of Human Factors or UX/UI. I am particularly interested in the human-machine interaction as it pertains to autonomous vehicles.
I look forward to applying my experience and skills I’ve obtained through my education to work on projects, using creative problem solving and innovative thinking. I possess a strong eye for aesthetics and can thrive independently as well as in a team environment. MC.S. COGNITIVE SYSTEMS, UNIVERSITÄT ULM
Located in Southern Germany, this university offered a holistic degree comprised of cognitive psychology, computer science, and human factor disciplines. Introducing students to theoretical and empirical foundations of cognitive skills which serve as the basis for the development of models and prototypes.

B.S. PSYCHOLOGY, TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY
A public research university in College Station, Texas; where I obtained my psychology degree with a minor in Neuroscience. Here, research was a fundamental aspect of my education. I had the pleasure of working under Dr. Darrell Worthy as a research assistant.
