MY STORY

Currently, I am working on my Mc.S. in Cognitive Systems at the University of Ulm in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. As a soon to be graduate, I hope to find a job where I can apply my knowledge of cognitive psychology and computer science in the realm of Human Factors or UX/UI. I am particularly interested in the human-machine interaction as it pertains to autonomous vehicles.

I look forward to applying my experience and skills I’ve obtained through my education to work on projects, using creative problem solving and innovative thinking. I possess a strong eye for aesthetics and can thrive independently as well as in a team environment. ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

My Studies

October 2018 - November 2020

MC.S. COGNITIVE SYSTEMS, UNIVERSITÄT ULM

Located in Southern Germany, this university offered a holistic degree comprised of cognitive psychology, computer science, and human factor disciplines. Introducing students to theoretical and empirical foundations of cognitive skills which serve as the basis for the development of models and prototypes.

September 2014 - December 2017

B.S. PSYCHOLOGY, TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY

A public research university in College Station, Texas; where I obtained my psychology degree with a minor in Neuroscience. Here, research was a fundamental aspect of my education. I had the pleasure of working under Dr. Darrell Worthy as a research assistant.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, ST. AGNES ACADEMY

A Dominican college-preparatory school for young women grades 9 through 12 in Houston, Texas. The curriculum is designed to develop capable, well-rounded women in mind, focusing especially on mathematics, science, history/social science, and world languages.

Increase the efficiency and productivity of Dr. Jarquin, performing clerical and technological functions, such as documenting patient’s medical history, recording medications, analysing vitals and running EKG tests
Refer patients to appropriate health care services and resources, always complying with HIPAA
Investigate and direct patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate medical staff and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution

SLV.GLOBAL VOLUNTEER IN SRI LANKA

Volunteered in national mental institutes of Sri Lanka, helping psychiatric nurses take care of patients during occupational therapy and physical therapy
